Dear Professor,

My name is Czareena S. Dotchev, and I am the Deputy Regional Director for U.S. Senator Charles Schumer’s Long Island office, located in Melville, NY. I am writing to request your assistance in promoting our internship program. The great news is that it’s not too late to apply for fall semester.

With activities that hone communication, writing, research and organizational skills, students learn about local and federal current events and are provided with opportunities to attend public events and press conferences. These experiences provide our interns with a well—rounded view of what work is like in a government office.

I would appreciate it if you could share the attached information with students of your school seeking hands on work experience in a government office. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your time and attention, and I look forward to meeting your interested students.
